ADVANCED FREEDIVER

Let’s Dive In!

About the Course

Reaching a new depth or improving your breath-hold time is an incredible milestone in freediving—it’s about pushing your personal limits and discovering what your body is truly capable of. The PADI Advanced Freediver course helps you build on your existing skills, allowing you to progress at your own pace while learning how your body responds to apnea in greater depth.

To join the Advanced Freediver course, you must be at least 15 years old and hold a PADI Freediver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization). It's also recommended that you have completed Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the last 24 months. This can be done alongside the course, and your instructor may also offer the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty for added preparation.
