The PADI AWARE Specialty course empowers you with practical actions to protect marine life and preserve our ocean. Through PADI eLearning®, you’ll learn how to turn your passion for diving into meaningful ocean conservation.
Your participation doesn’t just educate—it contributes. A portion of every course fee supports global efforts to remove marine debris, protect sharks and rays, expand marine protected areas, and fund local conservation initiatives through the PADI AWARE Foundation™.
Certification Requirements
- Prerequisites - Any age, any diving experience level (including none), and any person anywhere, can take this course. You can even get credit from the convenience of home via two-way video conference learning!
- Time - PADI eLearning: 1-2 hours Entire course: 1-3 hours
- Age - No minimum age
- Health - None
How to Earn Your PADI AWARE Specialty Certification
During the self-paced eLearning portion of the PADI AWARE Specialty course, you’ll explore the 10 Tips to Save the Ocean and discover practical ways to protect the underwater world. Then, bring your knowledge to life by completing the 10 Tips Workshops with a certified PADI Professional. You can join in-person at a participating dive center or choose a fully virtual experience through live, interactive video sessions. Either way, you’ll earn your PADI AWARE Specialty Certification and take a meaningful step toward ocean conservation.
