At Dive Nerd Outfitters, we offer expert repairs at affordable prices. All of our technicians are factory-trained, and servicing is done according to manufacturer specifications using authorized parts.

Regulators should be serviced every 12 months, even if they've only had a few dives since the last service. Our annual service includes a complete disassembly, sonic cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and fine-tuning on our flow bench to meet manufacturer specs. We recommend a 2-week turnaround, although work is often completed sooner.

Remember, never attempt to disassemble or service your regulator yourself, as it could void your warranty.

Additionally, annual BCD servicing ensures there are no leaks and that your inflator and dump mechanisms are functioning properly. We also repair or replace the power inflator components as needed.

We guarantee all replaced parts are free from defects for one year. If your equipment doesn’t perform as expected, we'll re-service it at no extra charge.

• Expert Evaluation: Upon arrival, our technicians will review your gear's history and thoroughly inspect it, noting any parts that need attention.
• Pre-Test & Recommendations: We'll run a comprehensive pre-test and let you know if any additional repairs are needed to get your gear in top shape.
• Manufacturer-Approved Service: Using only original manufacturer parts, we'll expertly service your regulator, BCD, or dive computer, ensuring it meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications.
• Final Testing & Invoice: Once your gear is serviced and tuned, we'll perform a final round of testing. You'll then receive a detailed invoice for the completed work.
• Return or Pickup: After payment is received, we'll promptly ship your revitalized gear back to you. Local customers are welcome to pay and pick up their gear at our store.

Typical turnaround time for service is 15-20 business days, with expedited options available. Front of line service prioritizes urgent requests and includes the option for rental sets if service cannot be completed within the specified timeframe.

• Quoted Service Costs: If you request a quote prior to service, your anticipated service costs will be quoted and emailed to you for approval before we commence servicing your equipment. There's a $20 service fee, which is waived upon approval of the service. A quote fee applies if services are declined.
• Annual Inspection: Manufacturer-standard checks and bench tested for performance.
  *Some regulators have a 2 year service interval but need to be inspected every off year.
• Battery and O-ring change: Labor only, parts cost additional.
• Additional Costs: Scheduled service kits and non-scheduled parts.
• Comprehensive Service: All components will be inspected and serviced; defective parts automatically replaced unless specified on the notes in the Repair Form.

Note: In some cases, servicing may reveal issues that weren't initially apparent. We'll always communicate with you before proceeding with any additional repairs to ensure you're fully informed and in agreement with the revised quote and timeline.
