At Dive Nerd Outfitters, we keep your scuba gear safe and reliable. Our factory-trained technicians follow manufacturer specs, using authorized parts for expert, affordable repairs.

Regulator servicing (every 12 months) includes full disassembly, sonic cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and flow‑bench fine-tuning—typically completed within 2 weeks. Never service it yourself—you could void your warranty.

Annual BCD servicing checks for leaks and ensures your inflator and dump systems work properly. We also repair or replace power-inflator parts as needed.

All replaced parts are covered by a 1-year defect-free guarantee. If something isn’t right, we’ll re-service it at no extra charge.

• Expert Evaluation: Upon arrival, our technicians will review your gear's history and thoroughly inspect it, noting any parts that need attention.
• Pre-Test & Recommendations: We'll run a comprehensive pre-test and let you know if any additional repairs are needed to get your gear in top shape.
• Manufacturer-Approved Service: Using only original manufacturer parts, we'll expertly service your regulator, BCD, or dive computer, ensuring it meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications.
• Final Testing & Invoice: Once your gear is serviced and tuned, we'll perform a final round of testing. You'll then receive a detailed invoice for the completed work.
• Return or Pickup: After payment is received, we'll promptly ship your revitalized gear back to you. Local customers are welcome to pay and pick up their gear at our store.

Typical turnaround time for service is 15-20 business days, with expedited options available. Front of line service prioritizes urgent requests and includes the option for rental sets if service cannot be completed within the specified timeframe.

• Dive Shop Pricing: Discounted pricing for dive shop. Call for details!
• Quoted Service Costs: If you request a quote prior to service, your anticipated service costs will be quoted and emailed to you for approval before we commence servicing your equipment. There's a $20 service fee, which is waived upon approval of the service. A quote fee applies if services are declined.
• Annual Inspection: Manufacturer-standard checks and bench tested for performance.
  *Some regulators have a 2 year service interval but need to be inspected every off year.
• Battery and O-ring change: Labor only, parts cost additional.
• Additional Costs: Scheduled service kits and non-scheduled parts.
• Comprehensive Service: All components will be inspected and serviced; defective parts automatically replaced unless specified on the notes in the Repair Form.

Note: In some cases, servicing may reveal issues that weren't initially apparent. We'll always communicate with you before proceeding with any additional repairs to ensure you're fully informed and in agreement with the revised quote and timeline.
