Regulators and Buoyancy Control Devices (BCDs)

Keeping your dive gear safe, smooth, and adventure-ready is what we do best at Dive Nerd Outfitters. Our factory-trained technicians follow precise manufacturer guidelines and use authorized parts, giving your equipment the expert care it deserves.

Regulator Service
Your regulator works hard every dive, so it needs a little TLC every 12 months. We perform full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, component inspection, lubrication, and flow-bench fine-tuning. Most services are completed within two weeks. And a friendly reminder: never service your regulator at home — it can void your warranty and compromise safety.

BCD Service
Your BCD gets a thorough annual checkup too. We check for leaks, verify inflator and dump-valve performance, and repair or replace power-inflator parts as needed. The goal is simple: a smooth, dependable, and confident buoyancy experience on every dive.

Our Commitment to You
Every replaced part comes with a 1-year defect-free guarantee. If anything feels off after your service, bring it back — we’ll re-service it at no additional charge.

Regulator, BCD & Dive Computer Repair Process

Expert Evaluation
When your gear arrives, our technicians perform a full review of its history and a thorough inspection, identifying any components that need special attention.

Pre-Test & Recommendations
Next, we run a comprehensive pre-test to evaluate performance. If your equipment needs additional work to get it dive-ready, we’ll provide clear recommendations before moving forward.

Manufacturer-Approved Service
We use only original manufacturer parts and follow strict factory specifications to service your regulator, BCD, or dive computer. Every detail is handled with precision to ensure your gear performs at its best.

Final Testing & Invoice
After servicing and fine-tuning, your gear undergoes a final performance test. You’ll then receive a detailed invoice outlining all completed work.
